  20. NewIcons is actually much faster is there are no free entries in the
  21. palette (I suspect this is due to the underlying pen sharing
  22. system).I have 256 colour thumbnail icons for some of the graphics on
  23. my harddisk, and they load and display very quickly on my 32 colour
  24. WB, where all the pens are already allocated, and incredibly slowly on
  25. a 256 colour Workbench where they have to fight it out for pens. If
  26. someone could think of a decent palette, and then lock it, I get the
  27. feeling that NewIcons would work much better at higher colour depths.

  29. BTW, has anyone tried NewIcons on a 24 bit CyberGraphX screen? Does it
